I am truly honored and excited to serve as the Interim Principal of Jack Benny Middle School for the upcoming school year. It is a privilege to join a school community known for its commitment to students, and I look forward to working together to support every learner who walks through our doors.

Benny is seeking recruits for our 2025 baseball team. Boys or girls with an interest in the sport are welcome.

All 8th grade students planning to attend Waukegan High School are required to complete the form linked in the presentation to select electives for their course schedule.

8th grade students and their families are encouraged to attend Freshman Orientation at Brookside campus at a date to be chosen later. This event has been postponed due to COVID precautions.

8th grade students will take the PSAT, a college and career readiness test, in classes on December 8.

Academia 60 once again brings you ESL for WPS 60 Parents. Classes begin on November 29th and will continue through May of 2022. All sessions will be virtual via Google Meets. Space is limited.

The event, which will celebrate Native American culture as part of Indigenous People’s Day, will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6 in the Council Circle of Bowen Park, 1800 North Sheridan Road.

This popular program, funded by the Lake County Board, will provide meaningful work experiences in either onsite or virtual environments for approximately 215 young people this summer.

Students ages 14 years or older may have a chance to obtain summer jobs through Lake County.

TRiO hosts a Zoom event where students will play Kahoo! to learn about college admissions vocabulary.
